As well as commercial arrangements agreed between Subway, Margate High Street and Margate Football Club, Subway’s Sho Patel will support the club’s Community Programme.
CEO Cliff Egan said: “I’m really pleased that we have been able to attract another major national brand like Subway to the club.
“The commercial income is always very important to the club of course, but Sho’s commitment to our Community Programme is also very welcome.
“I know that encouraging healthy active lifestyles and making a difference in our community are critical pillars of Subway’s social responsibility strategy; just as they are for the football club.”
Sho Patel, Subway Franchisee, Margate High Street said: “Subway Margate is thrilled to be partnering with Margate Football Club this season. It is a privilege to be involved with club’s local schools programme; teaching our local youngsters about the benefits of healthy eating and fitness through the medium of football.
“Our aim was to partner with a like minded, local organisation which brings joy and progress to the community and we wholeheartedly support MFC and its players in reaching their goals this season.”
